Well i was cleaning my car and later i noticed that on the inside of the glass on the gauge cluster there are little water spots. Is there an easy way to get behind it so I can clean it out?
thanks

If you take the cluster out, the clear plastic piece will just pop off. There are two screws that hold the black plastic piece that blocks the cluster. They will be on the top, directly above the steering column. Take those out. Then, there are three screws hloding the cluster in, one one the bottom and two on the top (maybe reverse numbers). Take these out too. Now the cluster should start to pull out, when you can turn it unhook the wires on the back. Now the cluster should be totally free. You will see clear clips around the cluster holding the plastic in. Unclip and clean.

Two screws on bottom, one on top, but of course he would have figured that out when he got in there.
If it's the first time the cluster has been taken out, there should be a white zip-tie holding one of the wire bundles to the cluster... just clip it, it's not needed.

not sure if you would do this, but make sure you do it with the car off. if your car has abs, and you pull those wires out of the back of the cluster out with the car on, you will have the abs light on all the time.
just a warning. other than that, its very easy.

Is there any way i can just detatch the plasic piece some how without taking it all out?
You would have to have super-tiny, tactile fingers in order to do that. It's very easy to take out, I can do it in less than 30 seconds...
