Is it OEM or aftermarket. The intake manifold is a pain to install. but there's no tricks or anything. Just be patient and dont drop ANYTHING into the intake port on your head. I would suggest putting some tape over the ports in your head until your putting it on.

Other than that, what Q's did you have?

I usually put a clean piece of small rag in there because sometimes the IM gasket gets stuck on the head. Then once I have the head cleaned up, I use tap (please don't use duct tape). Use some scotch or something that doesn't leave a residue when taken off.

I personally don't think the IM is hard to do. My opinion of course, especially on an LS engine.

Well, he has the same car/motor as me, so its still fresh in my mind about the pains of this install.
I agree with not using duct tape, some of those fibers or whatever could stay on the head and cause a poor seal for the gasket. Using clean rags works too, I forgot about that.

We just need to know what the questions are, or we could talk about tape all day

I went to skunk 2 's website and they gave me a walk through. I just needed to know what to hook up to the new aftermarket intake. I have never seen it done or never seen a car with one on. I have been working on cars for 19 years so I know how to put a manifold on the head. I just wanted to make sure that I was putting all the proper sensor's and hoses back on the new IM.
Thanx people for the replys
