i know im in the wrong forum here but i need some integra power! i have a 99 si its slow for me. i was wondering if any of u integra guys have any good all motor setups, i was thinking of this as i was reading some post
b18c block and head,b17 crank, have bored to 83mm,crower rods, je pistons 11.5 c/r, ported head,skunk2 valvetrain and cams,skunk2 intake manifold, greddy header and catback, aem cai, skunk2 ecu. what do you guys think.
i was thinking of stroking the b16 and boring but something changed my mind.

heh ill trade you my engine for your engine!!!
try some CTR cams and rods and JDM pistons. higher compression ratios can be acheived, allowing for more power.
adjustable cam gears are great too, so you can tune the car to perfection....
IMHO, i think you have a landmine upon you but you dont see it yet....b16s have way more potential in terms of the b18...its heralded as the torqueless wonder...you could upgrade from changing the internals to beefier stuff to increasing the displacement from 1.6 to 1.8, its endless

the b16 has more potential than a b18, i didnt know that, i just have seen a couple of all motor gsr's that put down well over 230whp. i have never seen a fully built b16 before i though i have never seen one because they dont have the potential a b18 has.
WHAT!!! no no you mean the b18 has more then the b16,the b18c1 already has more power and more torq. it's stronger and can easly make 200hp to the wheels.A friend of mine has a 2000 si has every thing you can put on it and a jackson racing supercharger,we built the bottom up on it.we put it on the dyno and it put 235 to the wheels.i'm mean that's pretty damn awesome, but with the same moddes on a b18c1 he could have put down 275 or more 2 the wheels.
He's already thinking of taking the b16 out, and going with the b18c1 or a b18c5 he said he whats more power.
b18c1 is a more powerfull engine, it has more displacement, if you put a gsr engine and all the mods listed you can be close to your goal...200whp

aside from buying a new block, do the mods i said earlier and you'll be pretty good.
or just turbo the sucka and youll blow everyone away.
yeah i got a good deal on a b18c,gsr right, for 550 thats just the engine though, can i run the si ecu and run the si axels with the gsr or do i have to change them. Yeah i thought that the gsr had more potential cuz of more liters. also ithink i read something on here that a b17 crank will make the stokr longer by about 4 mm, is this true or did i just think i read this, i want a fully built engine but this weekend i saw an all motor gsr from another city beat a crx with with a lightly modified b16a2 motor, lightyl modified is i/h/e/pulleys,cams,cam gears, and new springs. and this guy con drive his car trust me, so thats y i am now leaning toward the gsr motor.

there are some differences in lengths of axels so you might have to get some new ones. not sure about ecm though. air/fuel mix might have to be larger.
