Integra Motor Question

Ok i bought a 1998 integra gsr shell, and i need a motor for it, i was told from a kid that i can not put a 90,91,92,93,94,95 motor in the integra because its an obd2 car and all those motors are obd1 motors. So i was wondering if i get a 99 gsr block which is obd2 could i bolt any year LS head to it without having to run any new wires or anything and what ecu would i need if anyone can help me let me know.

You CAN install a 90-95 motor in your car, it just needs to be converted to OBD-1 which isn't hard, you just need an OBD-1 ecu and a jumper harness.

Who ever told you that, needs to learn about conversion harnesses and rewiring..Any motor can go into any car, with the right harness/ecu..
I suggest since you have a 98 shell tho, looking into a JDM GSR(B18C) or a TypeR (B18C5), which are basically the only two motors someone would want to put into a gsr shell other then a k20, but it can be any year, just get a conversion harness if its OBD-I instead of OBDII..like the man said above me. :clap
