just made this guy look st00pid
this is a little OT but I think still belongs in the teg forum.
Im at work right now and this guy just came in with a 98+ DC2 with the JDM front on it. It sounded like shit. Had maybe an exhaust leak going on. We talk to him for a minute and hes like "its got a 3puck clutch "
my buddy goes for a drive with him and tells me that the car really is fast. and the kid that brought it down was talking to me like I didnt know anything about Hondas he thought I was a F&F ricer or something he tells me that it has jdm this jdm that and is also CRVTEC. but he is still talking to me like Im a jackass. so he pops the hood and I see red valve cover. I look at the block, B18C1. :eek so I tell him that its not CRVTEC its a regular run of the mill USDM GSR. It was funny as hell to watch him swallow his lies. It had a shitty muffler shop exhaust, no name intake and no name header no name fpr and sounded like it either had cams or idled like shit.
After he realized I know what Im talking about he changes his story and tells me that the GSR block is bored to 2.0 but he wants to get the B20 I gave up and walked away.
thats my funny story from work

the shop i worked at had a guy like that. he had a GT mustang and had like an exhaust and an intake. well, we saw him at a party and he was telling people that it was supercharged and then we stepped in a busted him... then his story changed to planning to get a SC in the next months..... last i saw a year later, no SC.......

I think you handled that poor fool's ego nicely, letting people lie like that can be very weird. I still don't think he has a 2.0... but the car was fast, even with the crappy mods??

We would always harass the ricers at the chevron by having them pop their hoods.. we would spout off the most randomly stupid shit..
Like, "dude I think your VTEC rotor is bent" or "you need a new camshaft injection manifold" I even had one kid telling me his riced ass 87 civic hatch was vtec (stock dual point)

Funny how his story changed to "I have a GS-R block bored to 2.0L but I want to get a B20"... aaaaaaahahahaha why would you ever want to "upgrade" to an inferior stock 2.0L if you already have a bored 2.0L?! What a tool.
