Just started today

Today when driving my del Slow I was accelerating and suddenly the car lost A TON of power, it literally felt like I had 2 dead holes. Sometimes it doesn't happen, sometimes it does, (I was driving like an hour straight today).

I think its something wrong with the fuel system, any suggestions?

Yes, I run premium.

I put it in here cause it's a GSR swap.

At what rpm range do you lose power?

Any major service you've had done recently?

How about your routine service, what have you replaced?

Its a swapped motor so all lubricants were done. i changed the spark plugs and wires less than 1000 miles ago. And of course oil changes

At what rpm range do you lose power?

When you changed the plugs, what were the colors like?

Have you changed the dizzy rotor and cap? Fuel Filter? o2 sensors? Is your car getting adequate fuel pressure? How long ago did you swap? When's the last time you replaced your cat? Have you been able to drive around without any problems after your swap? What's the compression and leak down on your engine like?

The spark plugs were mostly fine, I remember one was a little black but nothing that bad, I haven't replaced anything else no.

I have yet to do a compression check and leak down, I was hoping to see if someone had a similar problem first.

This is the first problem I've seen with the swap. It was approximately 8k miles ago.

Haven't replaced any of those other parts personally.

The car loses power at all different RPMs.

And V-Tec still kicks in fine.

sound like the dizzy to me but i can be wrong a better description may help us to tell you whats wrong.

since im not sure...but i think dizzy means distrubutor...is there an easy way to check that?

do a compression test and see what numbers you get.
