Ok today i went to turn on my lights and when i did that my gauge cluster didn't turn on and nither did my rear tail lights or my license plate. Ok so i went and checked the fuse and of course it was blown. So replaced it and when replaced i turned on the light, again it blew the fuse. And everytime i put another fuse in it blows again and again. I have no idea what the problem is. Does anyone know??? Input would be very helpfull.
are you running a system in ur car? Ccause you may be causing so much voltage to different objects in the car that it doesnt get enough voltage to the lights sector..
You have a short some where, it could be an exposed wire or faulty wiring. Did you install anything new... gauges, radio, lights, etc. Go over the wiring and check for any mistakes.

why would that help? remove the one thing that prevents and protects your system from overload or surging...a blown fuse is cheap to replace , a blown system isn't....
my point was to remove the stereo systems load from the electrical system and see if the problem occurs, so you can begin to narrow down what could possibly be the problem

By remove the fuse I mean disconnect the system. Not take out the fuse and hook up the system and have it running. That not a good thing.

use a larger fuse, but this might fuck up your eletrical system. i don't its hes system unless he has one hell of a system, but i still think if it was that it would blow that fuse. probably just a bad connection somewhere.

my point was to turn off all your accessories and then check your connections because you must have some sort of short in the system. Don't put a bigger fuse, you could end up frying your electrical system or starting a fire.

try pulling out your main battery plug. i installed a cd player on a friends civic. the guage cluter light stopped working. i changed the instrument light fuse.. it kept on blowing. then i figured.. hey.. unplug battery then try it. it worked.
She constantly burns out here rear driving tail lights.
I think that ever since her ex hooked up the stock turnsignals to do the "ghetto hyper turn signal blink" every other month she would burn a 10A (blue?) fuse.
Does anyone know how to make the turn signals stop "hyper blinking?"
Is the wiring tied together near the bulb housing? I cant figure it out.
When the turn signal is operated the outside bulb would blink really quick and not toggle with the larger bulb like the stock set
up.
Alright i offically hate my car. I ripped out almost the entire inside of my car, disconnected my taillights, rear license plate harness, front corner lights and my instament cluster. AND I AM STILL BLOWING FUSE'S!!!!!! I also competley disconnected my sound system. I don't get it. I have put way to much money into my car for something like this to mess up my car.

check the wiring right behind the turn signal, most likely either a wire is cut or just crossed over. the fuse blowing could be as a result of the cut wire not being taped up and touching the body of the car, causing the fuse to blow. i'm also in 408, so let me know if you need any help.
