not enough current for the newer bulbs, either theres some resistence (loose connections, frayed wires) or just buy stock spec bulbs. your battery is fine.

if the battery light comes on when the car is running it is most likely the alt. you can take it to autozone and have them test the alt before you buy a new one.

not the alternator

sup everyone, recharged the battery, cleaned the terminals, and then checked the belt. It started, it ran and it was working fine, I went for a drive and the battery light came on again, I pulled the positive cable from the battery and the car turned of. I got the alt tested its good any suggestion besides whats already been suggested

you have your system running when you pulled the batt. cable? try driving around for a while with your system disconnected. if you can, see what the voltage is with the car on, and the system connected and disconnected.

probably just a bad ground wire. Check if the plug is tight.

eppo, yeah I disconected it while it was running, I tried it again and it stayed on but as soon as i turned the headlights on the car turned off. Disconnected the fogs since theyre 55 watts but the same thing the voltage wouldent stabilize.

i did read in a few places, not to disconnect the batt. while the car is running. the battery stabilizes the voltage. i've been having electrical problems with my car also. my battery dies if leave the car sitting too long. you can also see how much current is being drained by the car by putting an multimeter set on amps, in line with your positive battery terminal. google around. do your lights dim without the foglights hooked up? the integra alt isnt very powerful. if you have a system you should look into upgrading the big 3(do a search).
