Lightweight battery

Lookin for one of those lightweight batteries. Mine just died on me. 98 Ls. Any downsides to the special lightweights?

We had a discussion about it recently here: Cheapest mod you did to your integra?

Please also use the search function as we have discussed this before. Downsides... basically just the fact that it doesn't have quite as many CCAs (cold cranking amps) as a normal battery so if you live in very cold climates it might not work out well for ya. I've had mine ~4 years and have abused it plenty (killed it probably 6 times) and it still starts right up no problem. Have started it without a problem in sub 20 degree cold and after sitting for 2 weeks.

it doesnt die because it is a dry cell battery. It doesnt hurt it when it is drained like it does a normal car battery.

Oh really? Sweet! Well it's definitely a little bit weaker with age, but I guess I've had it for 3-4 years now so any battery would be aging a bit. It did start fine in freezing temps a couple days ago
