my friends integ's limiter somehow got moved to 6000 rpm....the before he went to the track he put on another intake and it never redlined again....we put the stock one back on but the problem is still there....we resetted teh ecu but it didnt make a difference....we also changed the spark plugs and that helped a little...it now limits above 6k.....wat else can be the problem???
Hey, this is really stupid of me... but is the gas pedal all the way down? I know when I put some stupid momo floormats in, my clutch wouldn't go all the way down.
Hey, I was reading on another forum and I went by a post that said a drop in oil pressure will make the car's rev limit 5K. This was during autocrossing, when the G's make the oil go to 1 side, resulting in a drop in oil pressure, consequently activating the failsafe so minimal engine damage occurs....
check oil. for a while, my car would only rev to 7 no matter how hard i tried. boy did i feel stupid when i went to change my oil and only less than half a quart came out of my car.
