Looking for a great deal on a carbon fiber hood
Whats up Guys? I looking for a website or a place to get a great deal on a carbon fiber hood for my teg. I really like the xtreme gt one from VIS but may go with OEM style one. I was hoping someone may know of a good place or site to get a good deal and wouldnt mine passing it on. Thanks for you help and keep those tegs looking hott.
Waiting for mine from BodykitsNW, I've seen one in person and their quality is definitely first-rate, very nice and on par with Fiber Images and VIS. They might still be having their special, something like $275 or $300 for most Hondas plus shipping, I'm getting mine for $325 picked up. Only problem is they take forever (I've waited almost a month so far), although I've heard that this is true of most c/f hood manufacturers.
BTW where is the professionalism in so many import parts businesses??

I had to wait 5 weeks until my Fiber Images CF was delivered to me. I think it was mainly the freight company that caused it to take longer. The freight company that delivered it was Old Dominion. They couldn't deliver it to a residential address and I didn't have a business address for them so I picked it up once it arrived at the freight co.
It's not the freight company for me, they still haven't shipped it. First they said they were backed up on making the hood because there were a lot of orders coming in. Now they're waiting for two more people to order hoods so that it can be shipped up here all in one group to save (them) money on shipping.
At least they have been staying in contact with me, and on the plus side they are giving me a 14lb hood w/o rolled edges (but hand-polished) instead of an 18lb one with rolled edges because they have kept me waiting. Which is good because I care just as much about the weight as the quality/look.
