ls cams on a gsr
i was wondering if adjustable hks cams for a ls would work on a gsr motor? my buddy wants to get rid of them and said he'd just give them to me. i might be getting a gsr in the near future so i was just curious.

i'm kidding. the non-vtec cams wouldn't work on any vtec head as vtec cams wouldn't work on non-vtec head.

From what i picked up on your original post, you are reffering to cam gears and not camshafts?

Thats what I got out of it.
The Adjustable cam GEARS will work on any B-Series.
The CAMS themselves will only work in the engine it was made for. (VTEC or Non-vtec).

If the ECU was re-wired, could all the VTEC hardware paraphernalia be removed/disabled, and a set of non-VTEC cams be put into a GSR head? I doubt it would end up being cheaper than just getting better VTEC cams, but just wondering if it would be possible for someone who hates VTEC and wants aggressive cams with a higher compression motor lol.

No. The physcial dimensions are too different. VTEC cams have 3 lobes per cylinder, non-vtec cams have 2 lobes per cylinder. Theyre completely different.
