I think you just need the head and a vtec ecu. You also have to drill new oil lines in the head. I'm also wondering how much a shop would charge to do a LS/Vtec job.

Mods: b20/vtec with jdm ITR conversion (mugen fascia)

expect to pay 1500-2200 for just the "basic" ls/vtec setup. that is including the vtec head, ecu, oil lines and fittings, labor.

i bought a 94 gsr head for 700 back then, 300 for the gsr ecu, and 500 for the shop to prep the head for ls/vtec, oil fittings, labor, replace my ls throttle cable to gsr. this was done in Sacramento about 4 years ago.

u will need to do a complete engine overhaul with high compresssion pistons and all that good stuff to really appreciate the "frankenstein" setup.

dont pay more than 1500, ever shop i know of in SD charges that much and they all do pretty good work so if you need some phone numbers let me know

he's right. don't pay more than 1500. maybe a couple more hundred, but that's it. the price i gave u is just a range for which u can gauge on.
