lsd and others.... hong kong
well im in hong kong got a deal on an lsd of an eg6 i own a jdm integra(rhd) its a dc2 Si mine came without lsd and...:
1. Would the eg6 lsd fit in my transmission and do i need to add something else?
2. The seller told me that i should have the 4.4 transmission is that the final drive he is talking about? and he also mentioned the 4.7 (think that will be the type r)
3. Buying a used lsd what should i be looking for? what are the main things i should put attention?
4. Will it be a direct bolt on to my transmission?
please answer me the 4 questions if someone has any idea of what im saying ... by the way its kinda like 150 dolars for it
Thats pretty cheap for a LSD. Is it even working? I would be weary. Usually they sell used for around $350-$500 used.
The 4.4 and 4.7 that he's reffering to is the final drive and he is correct that the 4.7 is on the R.
I do not know anything about a civic LSD unit going into a teg though. Never done it so I can't give you a straight answer. An ITR LSD unit is a straight bolt up to the GSR tranny though I can tell you that.

well he said something that should be the same that it can be done and its a bolt one.. is kinda like junk yard thing... yeah i know is cheap thats why i want to get it as soon as possible but if its not bolt on ill thin of it first
As far as I know, you should be getting a Type R LSD with a 4.4 final drive. Remember there is a difference between years. You cannot get a '98 and up JDM ITR LSD because they changed the final drive to 4.785. I believe all USDM ITR's have the 4.4 final drive so those are ok. I don't think the EG6 LSD is right for you as that is a direct swap into an LS tranny. The reason I know this is because I have already made this mistake. The following link my help you:
