you could do a LS/vtec conversion meaning putting a vtec head on LS block with ls/vtec kit and ECU chipping or with a vtec ECU. The B18B1(LS) has more stroke giving more bottom end and more displacement. doing the LS/vtec gives you the LS bottom and vtec top.
no, but like ol' boy said you can build an ls/vtec. pretty big project. what's your mechanical background?
im building a 347 Stroker with 700rwhp.....so im pretty sure i could figure it out...two questions...one, what Vtec head would you recommend..? and two, will a GS-R intake manifold bolt to a B18B1...?

no, the gsr IM is totally different. there are plenty of writeups/ threads on building ls/vtec engines here. the search button is your friend, my friend. a b18c or b16 head are your only choices, and their individual merits/shortcomings are discussed thoroughly in the other threads on ls/vtecs.

i see, one more question.....is LS/Vtec really any better than a GS-R swap..? or is it even worth my time...?
a question for the ages man.. search and ye shall find a gozillion arguments/opinions.
i see, i'll probably just end up buying a B18C1 that needs a rebuild since i'll be tearing the guts out anyways to put better shit in...and that way i'll have the B18B1 that's in my integra now to drive while i work on the B18C1

yeah that's a good route too.. or build a b18c or even your LS for boost.. it's all about what you want out of the car man. VTEC isn't everything. there are guys on here with QUICK LS's.
