my brakes are not working right

I own a 91 gs
latly my alb brake light would come on and stays on un till I restart the car.
Today I was just driving to my friends house, and I accelerated while the alb was working, and the car started to shake like crazy, but it would stop when I would hit a constant speed, at first I thought it was my tranny because when you let it out of gear or don’t accelerate it wont do it, but then my alb light came on telling me that alb isn’t working. Then I was driving back to my house then I accelerated but it didn’t shake at all wat so ever. Weather I accelerate or keep a constant speed. Any ideas wat it might be.

I check I have brake fluid
I don’t think I have rock between the pad and rotor because it doesn’t shake when the alb isn’t working.
I know it’s the alb, but I don’t know wats wrong with it.

I heard the 91 teg is one of the first years they came up with alb. My car when I slow down the alb you could feel it in the foot pedal is that normal too or my brake system is really.

Sorry, but what is alb? Are you talking about the ABS light?

alb = anti lock brakes

might be your abs unit

make sure the abs ring on the axle is not damaged, or grease build up on the abs pin, it might not be able to retract and is catching on the ring.
