After doing a long, long research from this site as well as the other boards, i finally know what i want to do on my car. I have one year and half semester left in college and lookin for a big plan to get in medical school. I've owned the GSR sedan since Janurary 2004 and i admited that i do not know anything bout the car before that. Thanks to the big help to CRVTEC0WNZJ00, acuradriva, IntegraXTR, White98LS, asianpride559, female four, Nguyen, XxLilBuddha1xX, niceaznboi, and to everybody in this SHO for their share of knowledge. I felt that i have learned alot of basics and espeically during my summer break where i do not work during that time. That was my advantage to learn as much as i can before i head back to school. Here is the list of the mods that i am plannin to put on my car for GOOD!!!
AEM CAI for dry session
Generic SRI for wet session
DC sports header 4-2-1 w/ ceremic coat in 1 pieces (modify collector to 2.25")
Custom 2.25" Mandrel bent stainless exhaust pipes w/ 2.25" carsound cat and OEM GSR muffler.
Energy suspension with polyurethane for the torque mount to avoid wheel hopping for better launch purpose.
Hopefully i can hit 14's with that set-up. Of course, i'll need to paint my bodykit and my 17" rims.
I felt that i want to thank everyone for their help because i wont be able to get around on SHO that much now that yesterday was the first day of school. Wish me luck and good luck to y'all!!
You're welcome for the help dude. I'm thinking if you want to hit 14's you'll need alittle more than that, but keep doing research and reading and asking and making tuner friends and you'll get to where you want to go.

I wouldn't spend the money on two intakes. I live in Ohio and we have our fair share of rain and flash flooding. I put 70k miles on my last car (civic si) with a CAI and never had a problem. Just avoid DEEP puddles (over 10-12 inches). Splashes are not a safty concern...
Looks good. No suspension goodies though? That's the favorite part of mine!
You won't hit 14's with that setup, sorry. Low 15's will be possible though. I basically have all that plus Stage 2 cams and tuning, and I hit a 15.0... I'm sure a high 14 is in there, just wasn't there that day and, being not that excited about drag, I'm not going to try again.
I agree on not buying two intakes - just use your stock intake pipe with no resonators, it's just as good as a generic SRI because it basically is one. That is exactly what I do during the winter, it's a good idea... much better than installing a bypass on your CAI and just having no power gains all year long. I have been through a couple Seattle winters with the CAI though - it's really not that bad, just watch out for when it rains really hard - it's when our drainage systems get overloaded that I'm afraid to drive. It's pretty unlikely as long as your careful, but I would recommend your plan (which is what I'm doing) of having two intakes (well, stock for winter). Although my stock one usually stays on for only a couple weeks because I can't wait to get the power gains back with the CAI lol.
You know who to talk to about ordering parts. Oh and I was confused about the 17" wheel thing... you mentioned 15" or 16" Slips but then you said something about painting your 17"s? If you're really going for performance, go for 15"s. I love the look of 16"s and I have them, but if I didn't have a separate set of 15"s for racing then I would have switched to 15"s full-time. I would also recommend Yoko ES100s instead of the 712s. I have the 712s right now and they're pretty good for the price, but Yokos have just plain eclipsed the 712s for budget sport tires - significantly better in all areas. Check out the Tire Rack's comparison of the two. Yokos were better in like 26 out of 27 categories, for about the same price.

nice setup plan , but with your mods u'll prolly be around 14.9-15.1 prolly 15.0 since its a gsr show is track tiems with your setup and keep us updated when you get somethin new
hey guys, i'll still to read more bout flywheel that i want to use for daily driving, but i'm stickin with 8.8 lbs.. yeah stock muffler hahah cuz i'm cheap like that. i'll read more bout it and hope i'll find a good muffler that will suit best for me. I'll still have to find a several mods that will try to put me in 14's. whenever i have questions, i'll PM you! THANKS and later!
Nice looking car man... I have to admit, I have never liked the sedan version of any sport car, American or Japanese, but Integra sedans look just as pimpin' as the 2dr.. I am also starting a series of upgrades that I have been going back and forth about doing for a long time.. Got my body dmg repaired and replaced my stock wheels with a set of 17" Exels. On top of that Im also doing all the routine maintenance. I figure so long as Im in there.. Im gonna pick up a CAI soon, and Im also going to do exhaust work hopefully before it starts to get cold out... Again, nice lookin' car
Stock-ish mufflers (low noise, stock-ish looks) with much better flow:
-A'pexi WS2 (I have the older non-stainless piping WS): it's a polished muffler with a big tip but in a stock-like style... I love how mine looks and sounds. Catback has 2.36" stainless mandrel piping.
-RS*R Ex-Mag: quiet, muffler is painted flat black and tip is not that big so it could be mistaken for stock.
-Stock ITR: barely louder than stock LS, looks very similar, but claimed 30% better flow than GS-R. Catback has 2.25" mandrel piping.
Curufin, let me know if you want a price quote on any parts.
If you want to get to 14's you're gonna have to do more. Crower cams and some good tuning like with mine should do the trick, although it might still be close. Or you could throw in a B20 block, run a light nitrous shot, or small turbo setup. Better gearing would help too - the cams and tuning might do it, but you might need some weight reduction and/or good tires to get to 14s... better gearing would do it. Maybe I'm just a crappy dragstrip driver though. Definitely stick with the 8.8lb flywheel and don't let ANYBODY convince you to either A) go heavier or B) spend more to get something other than an ACT. Either would be a worthless mistake! 8.8lbs + chromoly steel + under $250 = a lot better deal than any Fidanza, Clutchmasters... everything else out there. I can't get enough of mine!
