Angry My Integra SH*T

ok iu have serious IDILE prob. and it is starting to i dont know KILL my DREAMS, well i started at the 1st thing that comes to mind PCV valve 1 and 2. then i invested into a compression tester, did that it wasnt reading anything drastic like a ring was bad. so then i looked in the troubleshooter in my book. 1st it said it could be air and fuel insuffficentcy. so i replaced a fuel filter, and bought some fuel system cleaner. because i dont want to spen 130 some dollars fo a regulator.; yet, then 2nd it said to look at the ecm, and jump the harness and diagnose it. so i did and it said fuel system code 43 i believe and so i realy thought it might be the regulator. but then i thought about it because it back fires after idles high(on the way down) so i took the negative cable off to re-set the ecm. so i can check it and then it said oxygen content so i replaced the o2 sensor. and yet no difference. so i talked to a friend he suggested to see if u have enough vacum in the intake manifold so i start unplugging hoses checking vacum pressure one by one. nothin different. so then i check the MAP sensor unplug it and smoothed out. finally i got somewhere. so i now think i got soemthing figured out i go to drive it home. and when i go to change gear. it dies. so when i get up to like 2.5 rpms it acts like iam not getting fuel and dies. i cant rev it up or let alone drive it. plus i put a new clutch in last week. and now my shifter is fucked i dont know why. where 2nd 4th and reverse is where nuertral slide used to be. st 3rd and 5th are in my radio dash slamin my fingers. i cant figure out my clutch adjustment. and when i try to put it in reverse it grinds, what the hell never did that before.

damn sorry to hear that u had to go thru all of this.

When u put in the new clutch, did u do a proper break-in progress? Enough tranny fluid, bleeding out clutch fluid properly

It is hard for me to point out what the problem is.

so when i get up to like 2.5 rpms it acts like iam not getting fuel and dies.

I remember reading the post on TI net that the guy have an issue of not revving past 5500 rpm. he said something was clogging inside his stock catalytic converter and had to change it. I'm not sure if that is related to ur plm. YOu probably have some kind of leak (hoses, headgasket, exhaust system) or something that was clogging. I wish i could help. u still have the cel light on?

what if your headers are smashed from the bottom and a little from the top. could that give you bad idle? cause when its a warm day my car idles perfect. when its cold out like mornings my car is at 1.5 the whole way. untill the engine is warm and i turn my car off and back on then it has perfect idle. do you guys think a smashed header can mess up your idle? also where is the map sensor located on the gsr.

on my 90 teg its up on the firewall behind the intake and a little towards the steering wheel. your plm defintly sounds electronic. map sensor from advance auto parts store is like $330 try finding one at a junk yard if you want one. mine idles smoother with the map unplugged but still lacks the power so im going to clean my fuel system first. it should run fine without it just fuel economy would be affected, although i would still try to find one and replace it.
