Sell what you have, and buy a MT.
Aint worth it, you swap it, you have to swap it right and when you swap it right it'll cost you. And if it costs you then why the hell not buy a stock which was already a manual?

with all the money that you'll spend on parts, and the time you'll spend doing the swap. it would make more sense to me to spend that money on a car thats already 5spd and sell the AT car. Ive got a 71 Vette in my shop right now thats getting a auto to manual swap and its taking forever.
Damn. I thought it only costed like 250 in parts not including the tranny?
but figure another couple hundred on the tranny, plus the time. IMO I wouldnt bother. well, I guess if the car had really low miles and was in excellent shape
I've also heard that it is not worth the hassle or the money to do a swap. My recommendation is to sell what you have and buy a manual transmission Teg. Good luck!!

hey dude its worth it ..i did it to my car just do your own work ... my car is in good condition and its hard to find manual tegs in the area im in so i did it ... just take your time and look for good prices ..it took me awhile ti find a tranny but the guy sold me the tranny,B18c1,ecu and harness for 1k .. you have to buy shift link ,go to the juck yard get the civic hydro lines for prob 15$..its in 2 parts what i did i used the first part and took the fittings on the second off and made a better second part ,, get the pedals out the civic im lazy so i didnt even use the manual brake and gas pedal.. just the clutch pedal bolt holes already there.. you have to splice the to fat wires on the shifter together to get the car to turn on .. cut a little forward on the hole in the floor because it sits closer but you have to get a piece of metal to bolt there.. there is a wire near the key switch take i out to get the key out ... get a manual tranny brace old wont work .. you can cut and reweld the tranny bracket on or just get a block made and longer bolts ..i cut and reweld it was 50$ that was just 1 hour labor i cant weld ^^ .. its drives great and since i have a gsr tranny on a LS i beat all LS integas with similar mods ...but when i get back from this trip i can drop my motor i build ..took forever because i buy stuff piece at a time ..B20vtec and even that im still not over 900$ .. blox IM ,itr intake cam , gsr head , jdm 99 B20b bottom..i have a jdm itr header with a testpipe (i made it ) 2.5 all the way to my itr muffler ..the cops in NY will get you for a loud ex ..

You will need:
Tranny, ecu, 5spd pedals, slave cyliner, resevor, all lines, shift rods, shift lever, clutch, flywheel. I may have missed something.....
don't listent to these people who are saying to buy another teg...I have done this conversion on a few Honda's and it's not that hard...the parts you will need for an Integra are the following
5speed tranny
B-series shiftlinkage
5speed back bracket
Place Racing auto-manual adapter mount
5speed clutch pedal assembly and brake pedal assembly
Hydrolic clutch lines
Master Cylinder
Slave Cylinder (should come on 5speed tranny)
5speed front tranny mount
Clutch, Flywheel, and Pressure plate
You can run your auto ecu for a while till you come a cross a manual one
that should be it in parts...most of it is just bolting and unbolting you shouldn't have to cut or re-weld anything!!!!
the hardest part for me would be the wiring down by the shifter to make the car think it is in park all of the time otherwise if you don't...you will never get that key out of the ignition
and another hard part was re-aligning the 5speed shiftlinkage because it won't match up to the existing holes there so you will have to drill new ones and get some heat wrap or something like dynomat and cover up the existing holes in the floorboard
on a side note too when you are doing this conversion it is easier to drop the whole motor out and run the lines then and mount up the pedals and cylinders in an open engine bay also when doing it go ahead and put the polyeurethene inserts in your mounts to save you from some headache in the future

well when i converted my car 2 years ago i called around there was no mounts made for the coversion for an integra yet it was still in development ..its cool the have them now .. but its easy .. i didnt drop my engine .. just tranny but .. the army has a full bay with lifts so i dont worry about that stuff .. only reason i found it a headache is that i never even changed a clutch out let alone change a car from auto to manual.. but i researched it for at least 4 months befor i even bought anything to do it . .. i think its worth it tho .. for me if i can remember i left the car in N when i took it out ..but then again i took some wires from the ignition to take my key out .. it was so simple ..
