Need help

Hey guys...I was changing my spark plugs the other day cause i thought maybe it was time...and then i noticed that the old plugs were covered in oil and now...my car rattles pretty bad when i applied gas....anyone know what could be wrong...i keep thinking that i might need a new head and stuff...but i'm hoping that someone can offer me a cheaper explanation....
thanks
