I'd swich cams and get a decent tune. You should be able to drive your car daily unless you get some crazy aggressive cams or something and cant have a street-able car.

That should be all you need. I'm guessing you'd be around 180-200whp

The lift and duration on the lobes of the turbo cam are specifically designed to work with the high amount of air entering the cylinders. By design, they just won't give you that big extra bump in power that cams designed for your NA motor will. You can get NA cams to take advantage of your higher Compression Ratio. I think Skunk2 Pro2 Cams would be great at 12:1 (most people think the Skunk2 Pro2 still overcam motors at mid 11:1 CRs, but 12:1 should be perfect to get the most out of Skunk2 Pro2s).

How high are you revving the motor? You should be fine for 10,000 yes? (Just asking because I'm not quite sure of the difference between the Type R and GS-R block design...I know the stock bottom end Type R can take close to 10k)

ok so its not all that bad?

so its not bad to have these cams in they won't destroy my motor right??? cause they were put in by an engine building shop who did my engine so i really don't want to mess with my timing and all. but with a tune from a good shop wouldn't it be just fine. my motor would blow.right??

your motor will not blow or damage itself with turbo cams, your just going to be lower on power with that setup than you should be. Get a good set of N/A cams and have someone install it if you cant do it yourself and get a tune.
