b18a: usdm type-r pistons,exhuast,intake,header,3angle valve job....i have'nt ran a dyno yet the engine is a rebuild right out of the shop....anyways: i want to kill audis, chumpstangs, and neons. i know that all motor is cheaper but turbo has more to offer. if going turbo i know i would have to get new pistons and i would have forged internals but for all motor i know i could keep the pistons i have please give me advice, and my budget is sort of decent i could have a turbo in like 1 year, a turbo done correctly in like 3 years [wife and 2 kids so other priorities come first ya know]

Whoa says who? Turbo will gain more horsepower/price in most cases. All-Motor will cost you more just to even hold up with a turbo power, but will usually last longer.
If you're going to go Turbo then I would not waste money on buying engine mods like I/H/E until you have a for sure PLAN of action on what to do. In the mean time you could always go the Nitrous oxide route to get some fast cheap power.
You might also want to check out our turbo forum and see if they are able to help you out.
Good luck.

Word, my good friend has a civic and is got a 12 sec Camaro and all I can say is HOLY SHIT. I'd take a WS6 or Z28 over most ALL civics and most Integras...haha
Yup, going back to whats the PLAN OF ACTION.
BTW, Clay where you been at lately man?

Yeah I know, and where did Neons come from? And I hope you mean stock Stangs and Camaros, because trying to compete HP wise with modded ones could cost hella money. Obviously, he knows that there is no replacement for displacement.

uh all motor non-vtec...way too much money to get it anywhere decent. You can look into a ls/vtec conversion but its not cheap to do it right. Use the search button and you will find everything you could possible want to know, and then after that if you still have a question than post it.
