Mods: Fully built Ls/Vtec engine with a small t27 turbo
This one? or that one?
Ok guys, still new to these forums, i read the stickies this post is not illegal =D. I have a 96 Ls integra, and i'm strongly considering buying the new 06 civic Si if its not too heavy. This might be a stupidly obvious question, but, should i stick with my ls with over 95k miles on it and tune that, or go for the new civic and tune that? This post is prolly too soon considering specs on the 06 havent been released yet. Any help would be great.
it will be cheaper to continue modding the teg that you already have. and with the new Si there wont be any aftermarket support for a while. so I say keep the teg.
yea diffinitely keep the teg as soon as you start messing with si you ll void the warentee and parts will be expensive for it.i have an 01 eclipse and i wish i kept my 96 civic.my buddies got an 05 tiburon and wishes he bought a cheap car.your teg is good to go the si you still got to break it in

I heard that it would come with 200hp Dohc engine... I dont know much about the weight, but I think that by the looks, it should weigh about the same as a 96-up hatch... I wonder what about the new eclipse with that 263hp engine that it has would run in the 1/4... Looks sweet too...

the new eclipes is cool looking...but man...it wieghs 3500 lbs!!! wtf thats like a truck..-_-'
Yea I agree with everyone else, STAY WITH YOUR INTEGRA. Once you start modifying the new Si, there goes your warrenty as said earlier. Then your screwed.
Mods: basic rims intake exhuast headers sideskirts and dropped
stick with the integra. i agree no aftermarket for a car that jsut got released.
someone down the street from me has a new eclipse looks ok its liek a crazy metallic orange color. Never seen it on the street but i was under the impression that the eclpise was moving away form the import seen. they said that if you want the sports car from mitsu then you get the evo. this was just what a friend read off the internet he did some research since we noticed it in the area.I think he said its heavy and they are not trying to make that the sports car of the company all the goodies are in the evo and will stay there.

And much much more.......
your tegs pretty nice... and you don't have to make your decision now, but i'd keep the teg, think overall costs and stuff like ins.
support for the new si will be a while... but keep your options open, they'll be well modded soon enough!
