actualy i ended up having to scrape off all the paint with a raiser.got the cuts to prove it...used a drill with a wire brush attachment to get the tarish/white shit off.and some sand paper were the black was still good from the factory.then i used masking tape on the letters and cut around them with a raiser when the tape was on the letters.push the raser agianst the side of the letters to get a better cut.tapping the letters is gonna be the worst part.but for me it was the prepping..

nice job man! i did the same when i had my civic. what i did was put glue over the letters. like elmers white glue. i spread the glue over the letters with my finger and then let it dry. then i sprayed it with engine block paint from the corner auto store, and when all was said and done i just peeled off the glue over the letters. it was fast and easy and looked professional. for the rest of you guys wanting to try it, believe me its really easy and quick project.

deff the cheapest upgrade to up the looks in the engine bay.never thought of the glue trick.i just used masking tape and did a nice job cutting out the letters.your way is much faster...i just found out that the g2 integras arent the db8's.after i slaped the sticker on the wire cover.looks tight tho huh..
