You probably should get the manual...then you could see how easy or difficult things are when deciding to do things yourself or having the dealer do it. Your dealer wants your money, of course he doesn't want you to do it! I haven't changed the fuel pump, but if I were to do it I'd relieve the fuel pressure at the filter first. I'd also get the washers too, might as well change those while you're at it. (The fuel is at a high pressure even after you shut off your car).

The pcv valve is easy it just takes some flexibility to get at.

Fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, you need to remove the seat before you can get to it.

Obviously don't smoke or have open spark while you are attempting this operation.

to remove the fuel pump you will need to remove the fuel tank. the pcv valve takes less than 2 minutes to replace, anyone with a high school education can do this. as for the fuel pump if you are not mehanically inclined then dont attempt this.

Removing the back seat isnt the hard part, it's dropping the fuel tank out of the bottom of your car and then getting everything reconnected to the tank when you're ready to put it back in.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend smoking during this repair unless you like your interior well-done.
