well pistons are a pretty important part of your engine. I dont think that you will need to change your pistons for those cams, unless you dont mind ripping apart your engine. The power that you are talking about from pistons is from increased compression ratio, and those pistons will increase CR but not so much that its worth the labor. and no, its not a simple installation.
