Ok, I have an 87 D16a1 Integra, I just rebuilt the head. Only 35 miles on it, when I drive it more than 5 miles it is like the car loses compression and drops RPM. When I depress the clutch it acts as the brakes and stops the car. I'm confused. Plus my #4 cylindar plug wires keep popping out, sometimes #1 also.
Well, I sent the head oiff to get rebuilt and they replaced the valves b/c they were bent, new distributor, I think my rings are shot causer it smokes like hell

Actually alot of shops will tell you the valves need to be adjusted after the install. It is always a good idea to check others work.

Yup. They do a pressure & vacuum test on the head to see if its holding or leaking. Thats how they test it. So all the springs are loose when it comes out of the shop. You must adjust the valves afterwards. You can't just slap them on.
