Question price/length of time.

how much would it cost to install a pair of crower 403's, with dual series springs and titanium retainers. yea the head needs to be pulled (obviously) which adds some time to it. how much should I expcet to pay for this installation? how much time should a shop take to do it (on avg, assuming # of days).

thanks for any help in advance

It can be done in a day.

Expect about $500. depending on your local work/repair rates and the quality and honesty of the shop. I would definately search for a Very Reputible shop that has done this/these before.

It's not very hard, you could even do it yourself with the right tools IF you are handy and know your way around a garage. A Helms repair manual is a MUST in this case.

If you have certain constraints though, Yeah, a Shop/Garage is your best bet.

Good luck,

A.

Thanks for the quick reply. I called around, as I live in cincinnati, and asked a few places.

Called Baaz racing, he quoted around $1,200 and 4 days.
Called Passen Motorsports in Columbus and they said about $1,000 and need it for about 3 days.
Called a place called, Xtreme Wheelz (pls correct me if im wrong) and they won't install anything that wasn't purchased through them.

Is there another place I could check out that I don't know about? Preferably in the Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus area, heh. Not trying to call the whaaabulance here about this, but i've seen people who have had them done and they weren't installed correctly, and have had a fair amount of problems since, reguarding it.

On a side note, i'm planning on replacing the ECU to redline at 8400 (the 403's tend to make power to this point - and mabye a little further) but any reccomendation on a redline? I thought 8400 was plenty on stock internals until I replace those, if the time comes.

Thanks again for all the help.
