when i took my car off the drive today i noticed a patch of oil on the ground on closer inspection the leak seems to be coming from the left front corner of the engine and it looks like it coming from the head gasket.
is this a problem ?
im not burning any oil or water and the oil consumption is very small.
Originally posted by CivicPwR_56 it could be the camshaft cap. on the exhaust cam, there is a plastic cap that sits there, and over time they tend to crack and leak oil. you can buy a aluminum one with rubber O-rings for like 15 bucks i believe. they're easy as hell to install, just need to take off the valve cover and the exhaust cam bearing caps.
