Racing Cat---New guy

Hey guys (and girls), My brother and I both have 01 GSR's and we're constantly going separate ways on mods. He just put in a racing cat and OMG the torque response is awesome, but his engine light has come on. We had to extend the O2 sensor that's in the cat about a foot as the hole is at the front of the racing cat instead of the back like the stock. You think this is why the engine light is on? Like maybe when it reads the emissions between the (2) O2 sensors that it's reading "error" because we moved to O2 sensor?

did you get an auctual cat, or a test pipe? if you have a test pipe(no ceramic cat material inside), that would be the reason for the cel.

yeah, it's a real cat, got the honeycomb stuff in the middle, it just had the hole on the wrong side.....he bought it off Ebay
