Radiator Repairs

So i did the pressure test on my leaking radiator and i found that its a tiny crack made from a large dent in the side of the radiator. It seems like as if i can fix this with a small dab of soldering, but my question is if anyone has experience trying this, and if they think solder will stick to it permanently, or is the soldering can remelt when the radiator heats up. thanks.

overview of the various dents.

and a closeup, you can kinda see the vertical hairline crack, you guys think i could put some solder over that as a temorary fix? or what other material should i use?

ohh, ok. well i dont know if solder would fix it but you could try putting in some stop leak, those work good for a week or so.

you run some eggwhites through the radiator (not on the car of course) and they clog up the holes and harden... its temporary, but it'll hold over till you can get a new radiator

Get a new one...an aluminum one. Putting a band aid on anything is a bad idea.

dont do that egg white thing. thats only for emergency! just use some 2 compound hi temp putty. you knead it and put it on the crack. it'll hold you over for a weekend.
i blew my radiator, and this fix held me for the week and a half it took to ship my new radiator. install it yourself. 30 mins easy as pie. use some conditioner or stop leak in the new one.
