got my car running after hydrolock. new oil, did a compression test, that was good. only thing is now the exaust makes for of a higher pitch raspy sound. i'm going to build a leak down tester tomorrow, and try that. my guess is a slightly bent exaust valve? or maybe even an intake valve?
what do you guys think?

is the rasp coming out of the exhaust pipe? usually rasp comes from an exhaust leak or something around that. but do a leakdown test, it may not find your rasp, but it will tell you how your engine is doing after a hydrolock.

did a leak down, turned out really good, nothing above 7%.
mechanic say'd that i might have blown a/the baffle out of the exaust with the water.
though i'm not quite sure what he meant by that.
