Rumors? Lies? I R Dummy.

Hello, I'm soon to be buying a 90-93 Integra Hatchback. I'm buying it salvage and will be getting it for an insanely cheap price.

I have some questions.

1. My current Ride is a 1996 Civic Hatchback DX. Do you think a 2g Integra has more potential than my Civic? I raced my friend with a 4 door 90 Integra, and he smoked me by like 5 Car Lengths.

2. The 92-93 1.7 litre DOHC Vtec Integra GSR is more rare than a 97+ Integra Type R. Is this correct? My friend told me this is true. Now that I think about it, I have seen More Type R's than I have 2G GSR's.

3. The 92-93 GSR is the Fastest GSR ever made. My friend told me this, I checked it out on www.car-stats.com and they say that it is also.

4. How much does a 90-93 Integra HB weigh?

Thanks.

BTW 91Integracer, your car is Nice.

the 90-93 cars weight 2500 to 2750. as for the gs-r in 92-93 yes it's a awsome car but you will have a hell of a time finding one.and if you do it will be picey. you can get a rs,ls,or the gs is very easy 2 find and you can get anything for them.

If you have a 1996 DX hatch, why not do a B Series motor swap? Don't know the exact weights, but your DX hatch is not a PIG. Drop in a GSR motor and you will have nice power. Good luck.

Very true Tuan, a nice motor swap in a hatch is deadly. GSR, LS/VTEC, or the "big daddy" CRV/VTEC can be a deadly combination. I would love to have a CRV or full b18C5 motor in a hatch.. Ahh, I'll keep dreamin..
