are you taking it to a body shop or doing it yourself?

On some models the AC controls are located on the door panels. Temperature is selected by how far you rotate the crank and the fan is operated by the long skinny pedal to the far right. The further you depress this pedal, the higher the air flow.
how bad is the rust? just surface rust or does it penetrate the metal? (you might not be able to see through it but it could be all the way through) size and location of rust that needs to be repaired?
if you have a picture of what you're looking at that would help.
basically you're looking at them patching any holes, using body filler, priming and painting. at the very least a few hundred.

using body filler to cover up rust is the worst thing you can do, it might look good for alittle bit but it will always start cracking. go to a body shop they are the only ones that can tell you how much your gonna spend and most likely if u want it done the right way its gonna cost anywhere from $200-$600 depending on how bad it is they might just change the bottom half of the quarter panel.

Word, plus Rust is like cancer, you can bondo it up, but it will still rust and the hole will re-appear. I just went to a shop, and had the rust spots completly cut out and replaced with new sheetmetal.

i take it you haven't done any rust repair then, because unless you're putting a brand new panel on you're using body filler.
after you remove the rust and treat the surface with either a rust convertor or a sealant you're not going to have a ready to paint smooth surface. a skim coat of body filler and some sanding and you won't be able to notice anything was done.

of coarse thats obvious that u need a skin coat to make it smooth but what im trying to say is that there are places that Repair the rust spots with Bondo and chicken wire.those jobs are shit.
