No the trans is not an S1, The S1 is from an 88-91 honda civic sir. If you can get an S1 trans, get one. I got one form my integra and it's bitchen!

Since we're on the topic of tranny's let me ask this here rather than open a new thread. . . I've got a B18C1 and i'm lookin into an aftermarket LSD. I was thinking of either just getting an ITR tranny and just bolt it on to what i have now . . . or can i just buy the TypeR LSD itself and drop it in with no other parts or modification needed? Here is kinda what im lookin at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46098

you can just buy the lsd by itself and bolt it on.

thats a cool deal

thats a alright deal, the problem i see with that is a few things though, the first is that i dont see a pic of the final drive, they probably do have it, the next is that pic has a ring gear on the lsd, but since the pic doesnt show the final drive its probably just a random pic of the lsd, so you might need a ring gear, and in order to swap the final drive in you need a new needle bearing which i dont see either, so it 350 for the parts plus 130 for shipping, that 480 for everything, then you will need the parts to put in the final drive i think its 3 parts from honda to put in a new one, thats like 130 for all three, you still have a pretty good deal, on your hands, but then you have to ask youself this, if you are staying all motor then thats a good deal, if you are going turbo dont waste your money, after a certain mph in a itr lsd on of the wheels will stop spinning, if you go turbo get a quaife, the wheels are locked in all the time. hope i helped you make a decision.

blueSi, damn bro thanks for all the helpful info! I asked the seller a few of those questions u brought up. My GSR is going to stay all motor so this should really help out in the traction department. Thanks again
