shifter bushings maybe?

my shifter makes a vibrating noise when i let off the gas. plus it moves side to side like crazy even when in gear. sometimes i'm in third and i think i'm in fifth or vice versa. am i in need of new shifter bushings? any suggestions?

what im thinking is the shifter bolt loose or the bushing to the tranny is really worn.

Just climb under and check out whats going on in there.

wouldnt hurt to replace those bushings. they're cheap and easy.

nah it's not my mounts, they're all brand new. i'll check it out when i have the time. should i go poly or oem?

poly all the way. they're cheap (less than $20 at most places) and make a big improvement in shift feel.
