Should I run a test pipe?
right now my 95 special edition has 2.25" cat back with a 2.25" straight through muffler and it isn't loud enough. I already have a little loss in backpressure do you think I should put a test pipe, high flow cat or leave the stock cat.?

is your car boosted? if it is, my friend's eclipse runs a testes pipe 3" all the way and it's pretty mean sounding. however, you do drive a honda... so... yeah...
btw, wouldn't removing the cat further reduce backpressure?

here. he is implying that a loss in back pressure is a bad thing and he's wondering if the test pipe will make him lose more back pressure. hence why i asked him why he is concerned with losing back pressure

Id wanna be thread jacking by any means but I currently have a 2.5 inch exhaust on my z6 but heres the horrible part I had to put the stock muffler on for a while now = pee hole. Before you flame I know its creating a huge backpressure and defeats the purpose of an exhaust but in my town they pull you over as soon as they see a modified exhaust especially if its considerably louder than stock and its a 125.00 ticket or they drop it when you put a silencer or prove you swapped it. They also kept using it as a reason to pull me over and then would search my car for drugs so I got tired of being ticketed / pulled over and I put the old muffler back.
I wanna get a better muffler esp since I am considering turboing my z6 this up coming summer. you guys know of any inconspicuous mufflers that arent too loud lol I dont wanna sound gay its jst that they are crazy in my town for pulling you over for it. I was thinking magnaflow ... Thanks
ps wvgsr... sick 240 my boy has 3 but NONE look that dope.
