Lightbulb

They are supposed to cool down the rear brakes or let them ventilate. However, most of these h-rides we see is just for looks. My friend did his about 2 weeks ago
CONS:
1) its a b@#&h to do.
2) have to cut extensively into cars body
3) water trap when it rains.
4) TOO DAMN NOISY
PROS:
1)looks tyte
2)no1 has them
3)extra show points.

whatever you do keep it clean and pimp, L8trz

MY body guy said he can do it both ways he set it up so that it cools off the brakes( More work more expensive) or he can do it just for looks. I'm just into exterior.

As for the water, my friend installed a sort of duct. He placed some sheetmetal that carries the water out of the vent. It drops it right before the rear tire. However, it doesn't get all of it, but it does get most out. For the noise, your best bet would be to dynomat it. Even though thats mainly used for systems and $h!t, it does eliminate most of the sound vibration from day to day driving. Keep in mind it will always make noice, as will anything that changes the body lines or structure of a car. ie:shaved moldings, rain gutters, tails, vents etc.

Have any other questions on this type of stuff drop me a line. My friends and I do all of our own body work and chances are we've done just about everything from heads and tails conversions, to wide body and fender flares and shaving and molding parts. After messing up the first couple of times and learning our mistakes, I think we have finally caught the drift. Any how sorry about rambling on. just hit me up as I said earlier with ?'s L8trz
