I have a Integra SiR and just wondering how the Integra GSR would match up against it. From what I have read the SiR (JDM) is more closely speced to the UDM Type R.
How does the GSR compare?
Who would do 1/4 mile quicker?
don't think so.. I have seen differences in the engine specs.....ex
compression ratio SiR 10.6 - GSR 10.3. I think the american Integra Type R is also 10.6 correct me if I am wrong
the USDM Type-R has a compression of 11:1. i dont think that the INtegra SiR is that much different as a Integra GSR. They both should have around the same 1/4 times.

You're wrong, USDM ITR 10.6:1, please do a search, this info has been posted a billion times.

I did some research on the car and I found very little information on it. In fact hardly anything at all. However I did come across this information and I read that your Si-R comes equipped with the B18C engine which pushes out 180 ps (1.8L DOHC VTEC).
I have no idea how to convert PS to HP, but lets just assume for now 1ps = 1hp. That would assume you would have a little edge on the GSR with in between compression (GSR and USDM Type R) if what you say 10.3:1 is true.
Does anyone know what ps is?? I have no idea how much that is, and all that I have said was speculation and guess about ps=hp.
Hoped that helped out some,
-Jason

One PS = 1.01 HP
I cant remember the whole story behind the PS thing, or even what it stands for. I was a measurement that they made for measuring power in industrial settings...I think they created it in Japan.
Anyway, just divide 180 by 1.01 and you get 178.2 HP
That is your answer!
