smoking ou thte exhaust. HELP!

I was driving my car normally and noticed when i turned that smoke cam out my exhaust. Like a lot of it. Then I tested the car to see why it did that and i just slowly increased my speed until about i got to about 6000rpm the car started smoking again really really really bad. Would this be a blown head gasket?
