So what exactly makes the ride less bumpy in a Integra?

Is it new struts? or shocks? My car feels like shit even when I hit the smallest of potholes, I need to do something or my neck is going to break.

Also, do you have lowering springs, coilovers.
What size rims and tires do you have

if your car is stock, your just paranoid

if you have springs/coilsleeves => you may have dropped the car too low and its riding bottomed out or your struts(not shocks) are needing replaced

the suspension is bone stock. when i hit a pothole, it hurts like hell. i drove my friend's eclipse, for example, and it didnt feel nearly as bad as it did w/ my integra. even my mom's corolla is better, feel wise. i have 15" fat fives on them right now, but I dont think the tires/wheels have anythign to do with it b/c I've gone through 3 sets of wheels last 8 or so months.

You need to change the struts.
The reason I asked about the tires is because bigger rims and smaller tires affects your ride quality

I have a feeling the eclipse was old with worn out shocks and come on man, aa corrola? Of course the corrola is going to be softer. Its suspension is tuned for a soft, comfortable ride. Most toyotas have extreamly soft suspension. I used to have one.

most likely your stock shocks/struts are blown and/or the stock bumpstops are rotting causing the suspension to fully compress.

Check your suspension to make sure everything is working properly, not worn out like a $2 whore...
If everything is in proper working order go to the hospital, they may be able to remove that glass ass you have and give you a mans version....

Either something's really wrong with your car (although it will be stiffer than a Corolla), or you need a ride in mine. Imagine spring and damper rates 3x as stiff in the rear, with less weight, much thicker swaybar, and less tire sidewall.

A pot hole is just that....a hole...of course its going to hurt. Any car even the luxurious rides will feel a decent sized pothole.
