Ok, idk if any of you were paying any attention to the Axle thread I had going, but I think I figured out why after 2 new axles, my car wobbles at higher speeds and looses power randomly and won't hook up sometimes.
Differential?
I guess this, cause that is the part that applies the power to these new axles, and with the wobbling it had to endure, even for that short time with thoes shitty axles, could have thrown it out of wack or ruined it? This is my guess. I was going to check back with the mechanic who did my axle work and ask him too.
If this is the case, I would have to get a new differential I assume, or would the one thats in there just be out of alignment or something?
If I am going to replace the differential, I was thinking of putting in a Limited slip unit. Why not if the thing it already torn apart, and with my plan for the car, an LSD would be nice, however I must admit I never thought about putting one in. If I need a new one, should I get an LSD, go with the stock GSR unit? If I do go LSD, what should i use? ITR LSD or a quaife or something?
So if anyone thinks this is the likely culpret plz let me know! And if you have any suggestions for LSD's plz, let me know. Thanks in advnce!
