Starting Problem?Cranking Noise!

I did a search, but it really didn't give a description of the problem.
My car has been giving me a starting problem for awhile.
Sometimes I have to crank it about 5 times before it starts.
When I try to start it, it makes the noise: Like when you crank it
while your car is already running. It happen after I put in my new
clutch and flywheel. I need help in pin pointing the problem.
In my setup, can you find common cause to this issue?
.

When I finished dropping my new engine the starter gave way...sounds like you have a starter problem.

THis is what you can do:

Take out the starter and locate the black housing, inside is a male metal connector.

You can use jumper cables or a voltemeter for this, I used my car battery with jumper cables:

With the black(-) wire place it on the housing of the starter and with the red(+) wire connect it to the terminal located in the black housing.

Caution!! HOld the starter in place and the spindle should POP out out and spin...if it pops out and does not spin you have a starter problem...if it pops out and spins your starter is okay.

Do that first and tel me what happens....if your not sure you can always bring it into honda or Autozone, Pepboys, etc and they can check it for you
