Hi y'all. My fiance just bought me a 95 GSR and when I was home this past weekend to check it out, I saw that the steering column was "spun" clockwise. No, not just the steering wheel, but the column covers, levers, and keyswitch. The car drives fine and all, but I really want to fix this problem. Is there anyone out there that can tell me how to recenter the column? Or would I have to go to a dealer or auto repair shop to get this fixed? Thanks all.

Take all the panels off of the column. They are held on by two screws. There should be tow bolts that hold the column into place. Take those off. You may have to unbolt the column from the connector to the rack or disconnect it at the rack. Flip it over and then put it back together....
Right on! So it shouldn't take too long to recenter it right? Will this also recenter the steering wheel, except for the slight tilt to the right because an alignment is needed?
It could tilt to the right for reasons besides the alignment like a bad ragjoint in the colum. It really shouldn't be hard to do with a manual and a lazy afternoon with a few beers and the right tools and mechanical knowledge and the ability to read.

Now how would I do that? I've got some decent mechanical skills, and supllying beer is no problem. Haha. Is there a tutorial or something of that sort you can refer me to?

Haynes manual would be a good start. I bought a CD type thing, so I can look up what I want and print out the pages. That way I won't get grease all over a book.
