Steering rack

Does anyone know if you can just buy the rack ends for a steering rack?

There is some play in one of my wheels when you apply force to the tire left and right. I think it's the ball joint in the rack end.

Other ideas?

AngelSol is an unknown quantity at this point
Lower tie rod end. Get a paint marker from an autoparts store or the arts and crafts section at like Wal-Mart. Go to the autoparts store and get a tie rod end ball joint seperating tool..probably look like a 2 prong fork in the shape of a chisel.. You can usually just rent these. Take your wheel off, mark where your current one is on the threads it screws on to, take the pin out from the bolt on the ball joint end and take the nut off, use the tool and seperate the old one from the lower arm, break the nut loose holding it on and unscrew it. Next, take your new one and screw it on to the paint mark you made on the threads and tighten the nut down. Put the ball joint back through the hole on the lower arm and tighten the bolt to the proper ft/lbs and insert the pin.

Done... if you lined it up with the paint mark and it's on the same as the old one, you shouldn't have to have it re-aligned and your tow should be set the same!

Good luck
