Question Stock wheels and lowering??

I want to go ahead and buy a good set of coilovers and shocks to put about a 2 inch drop or so on my 96 GSR. Question is will it look like crap with my stock 15" alloys? Just wondering how other people that have lowered with their stock wheels like it and how it has helped with handling and ride quality. Any suggestions on what to get in the coilovers and shocks would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Are Eibach pro kits a good drop? I don't want my car too low, and if I get RS kit, you think it will look alright, the drop I mean. I'm riding on stock rims. I just don't want my car noticeable because it's high with teh pro kits or whatever. Thanks

i think you mean the ground controls coilvers ( they use eibach springs ).

i would agree with getting ground controls.. they cost $280 and its worth the money. with a 2" drop or less, im not really sure if u even need aftermarket shocks.

also.. IMO, with stock wheels.. u need to slam your ride (2.8") for your car to look dope.

get the coilovers , you wont regret it . and i once and a while put the stock wheels on my other and slammed it . it looked great and was like 3.5 inches all the time . it looked hella agressive.
or had my 17's in back and the stocks up front and just the front slammed and te rear raised. it looked cool .

I wonder how you can drive around with a 4" drop? That's like having your teg on dubs.
