straight pipe
i know that if i put on a straight pipe that my engine check light will come on. i just want to know if i need to anything else besides putting on the straight pipe. i know if i want to get rid of the engine check light i need to go get another part or something. could someone please explain what the part is or if there is anything that i need to do.
or you can go to an auto parts shop and get this thing called a "bung", which is a round piece that allows you to screw you o2 sensor so you check engine ligh doesn't go on. you would have to drill a hole in the strait pipe, then weld on the "bung".
And Snoopy, what the hell is wrong with you putting shit like that in a post? It took me about 10 min to read what sik_playa had to say. i just kept looking to see what she was doing next.
Its not just a straight pipe thats causing CEL's. Even the earlier carsounds were causing CEL's. They have corrected this with a second O2 bung on the cat:
