both of their strut bars are straight. basically for one to fit it needs to bend around the bottom of the abs unit in the engine bay then go over the intake manifold.

you have an under-hood shot of your car? i'm wondering how a strut bar will go under anything at all.. have you looked at the neuspeed one? it splits at both ends and bends & shit.. maybe you could give it a shot. i'll dig up a pic of mine if you want.
i have a tenzo r bar on my car with a b18c1. i had to take off the brackets around the abs reservoir for the bar to bolt in. heres a pic.
with my ls motor i had to put washers to make the bar sit higher to clear the fuel rail.
