Stupid Question, im sure..
any way to replace main bearrings without pulling the entire crank? i spun a rod bearring a while ago and just now to the point of re-assembly(rebuilt the head and ported intake manifold). i just figure, since im down there doing the rod bearrings, why not do the mains. im also replacing the pistons but keeping the connecting rods stock. just sorta have no more patience as to pulling the pully side of the motor apart, then the trans/flywheel. tia!

Yeah, i would assuse so. If all your doing is replacing the bearing, then I would have to say yes, though I might be wrong. If your planning on the piston swap then again, you might be able to leave the crank is as well. The piston and rod are connected and dropped in front the top, above the crand when the head is off too.Again, I might not be right thought.

not sure what youre getting at with that post. id assume drunken explicitness. but, rather than a yes or no answer as to whether or not i can replace the mains without pulling the crank, somewhat of an explanatory answer is appreciated :P btw, i do have a haynes manual, however, im looking for a way to bypass a ton of work. manuals conceive work done correctly, not half-assed (just my style) as i seek.
Change your thrust bearings too. That you can do without pulling out the crank. Main bearings nein, you have to take out the crank to get the other halves.

You have to pull your crank for the thrustbearing too.

soo.. another question, not for the eyes of the immature, but those knowledgable on Hondas as this is my first. B18C1 pistons+rings fit in a b18b1 longblock? heard its only a .020 overbore, which is feasable upon a cylinder hone. and, anyone know about the labels on the rockers? i have one "T", so i think, 2 "3"s, and the rest "0" "2" and "4". just not sure if they are set at different clearance heights for the cams or whatnot, they were in order from removal, and labled, but now its a mess since i cleaned everything. im sure its another thing i can accomplish learning from the manual, just more convenient to have all the information at once from others with experience.

for the ridiculous amount of lines coming off of the intake manifold. the sticker is there, just doesnt specify anything. idk the use of most of them. seems they all route into one another in some way. imports >.<
well u got one for ur map sensor, fpr, pcv thats all u really need i think mighta left one out but the rest is for ur cruise control etc... unless u want all that or u use it
