suspension decisions, please guide me!

Hi everybody. Let me explain my situation a bit. I drive my Teg 90 miles a day for my commute to and from work. I'm a big guy and I like to be comfortable. I want to lower my car, and it needs new struts. I try to educate myself when I'm making a decision like this, but this one seems to confuse me the more I read. Here's what I'm wanting.

1. I want the car lowered, but not slammed. (yeah, I know, vague) I want the tire and wheel to fill the wheel wells with a 15".
2. I want the car to still ride fairly well. I know it's not gonna ride like a new, stock ride, but I don't want a log wagon or go kart, either.
3. I want my tires to wear properly. I can handle a little wear, but no wires after 2-3 months. The more I read on camber kits, the more confused I am. One thing says you don't need 'em, the next thing says you do. Which is it?

One of the set ups I'm looking at is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...9306QQtcZphoto

I'm just not sure this is what I'd want. Also, I keep seeing glowing recommendations on coil overs. I've never heard good things about coil over set ups for the street. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that my Teg is a 95 SE, 5 speed coupe.

In your case its best to stick with the stock suspension since you drive so much. You can get a set of new shocks/struts but I would keep the stock springs. If you really want to lower it a bit go with some H&R OE springs. They lower less than 1" and have fairly soft rates.

i drive about 50 miles a day and have ground control coilovers and kyb adjustable shocks and am low enough to scrap my cat on speed bumps if i have a passenger in my ride. i always heard bad stuff about coilovers, but to tell you the truth i love mine. i can adjust the shocks to be stiff or soft with just a twist. i can also lower or raise my car if wanted. stock would be ideal for a daily long commute, but if your planning on modding your teg in the future and are in need of new struts, might as well get something that your gonna stick with.

You have the right struts but if you can get some RS-R spring they cost a little more than H&R you get a better drop and they look sweet plus ride just like stock on the tokico strut but if you can get H&R make sure you get the street and not the race ones

1. H&R Sport springs
2. Koni Yellows
3. Set toe angle to zero when you get your alignment

Problem solved. 1.75"F/1.5"R lowering (about a 1-2 finger gap give or take), pretty decent ride, adjustable shocks, and no need for a camber kit. A high-quality setup that will last a long time and be essentially worry-free.

I would suggest running H&R OE's. Nice spring, not too stiff or low.
